Elijah Wood--No One Needs To Know

My second YouTube video, which I put together in about only 4 straight hours. It's a surprise for my sister, but I had a blast making it.

Pirates of the Caribbean--

Due to my addiction to YouTube, and my recent aquisition of a computer that has Windows Movie Maker, I attempted a video of my own. I put Toby Keith's song "No Honor Among Thieves" to pictures from my favorite movie, Pirates of the Caribbean. (Even though the song is western, it seems to fit.) After all my effort, here it is!

Romance is dead--Henry James killed it

I'm reading The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James for a literature class, and I am not enjoying it. I'm too much of a romantic for his realism. No one in the novel ends up happy! The main character, Isabel is proposed to three times. Two of the men love her, and one man only likes her money. Guess which guy she marries? The one who doesn't love her. Gah! And of course, she's miserable, and loses the independence she was trying to hold onto back when she refused the first two guys. Not to mention Isabel's stepdaughter that has to spend the rest of her life in a convent because her father won't let her marry the man she loves. Ah, well, I guess I'll just have to go back to good old Mark Twain. I can always count on Tom Sawyer to be romantic.

I've got my very own blog for my web writing class. I'm making a website for Perforum, so here's a blog to go along with it!

Sooooo...how much longer is this class? I'm excited to see Ocean's 13 tonight. I hope it's as good as the first two.

I'm into watching soccer, so this month I'm having so much fun cause it's the Women's World Cup. Except it's in China, so that means the matches are a 5 AM and 8 AM! One day I tried to watch a 5:00 game but that didn't last long. As it is I've been watching the 8:00 games muted so I don't bother my sleeping roommate. The USA and England are my two favorite teams, so I'm disappointed that they have to play eachother in the quarterfinals, cause one will have to be knocked out.
